Description

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

This position could work in any department of the Processing facility. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, turning, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required in all areas. Lifting 40+ pounds is required in many areas. Must be willing to tolerate climates ranging from very cold to very hot and form very wet to very dry. Must be currently enrolled in maintenance related studies at Wilkes Community College and be able to provide referral letter.

Requirements

Positions will be for shift available that best works with school schedule. Minimum work hours of 16 hours week, maximum 30 hours week. Must have a valid Driver s License and be able to obtain a company license. Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules (ie. Lockout Tagout). Must be able to comply with OSHA standards Must be able to read and write. Must be currently enrolled in maintenance related studies at Wilkes Community College and be able to provide referral letter from WCC.
