This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by insuring the Supervisor s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position will also monitor all equipment to insure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Delegate work assignments of team members to maintain the cleanliness of the plant. Trains team members according to work instructions Responsible for follow through of the cleaning assignment for team members Must work safely at all times and comply with all safety policies and procedures, Lock out Tag out Comply with SOP s and GMP s Keep equipment and surrounding areas clean have replacement equipment clean and ready for change overs Communicates with management on a daily basis Ensure continuity between shifts by documenting cleaning actions and noting areas that requiring additional care or monitoring Perform other duties as assigned Responsible for the documenting of all tasks completed at the end of the shift Testing titrations daily and documenting results in chemical booklet
Must be willing to support a 24 7 operation by being available to work weekends, and holidays as needed. Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work systematically within the pressures of the role while organizing and prioritizing daily work and projects Must work 12 hour shifts. The position requires standing, walking, climbing steps ladders, and work in a hot, cold and wet environment. Experience leading a team required. You must have at least six (6) months work experience within the last 12 months to be considered for this position. Applicants graduating from High School or College within the last 6 months will have this time counted in lieu of the 6 months collective employment requirement.
