This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening on day shift. Applicants will be considered for opening in any department that may include, but are not limited to, Live Hanging, Evisceration, Dark Meat, White Meat, and Boxing. This position may require to bend, stoop, twist, reach above, reach across, use repetitive motion, carry up to 50 pounds and be able to stand for a minimum of 9 hours daily. This position will be exposed on a routine basis to adverse temperatures ranging from hot warm 80-90F degrees, damp and dusty to cold 20-40 F degrees, damp and wet. In addition, this position may require the use of a straight or whizzard knife.
Candidate must be willing to submit to a post offer drug screen and Health Assessment.
