Job Description:

SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for establishing working relationships with customers; monitoring customers credit status and payment trends to determine if orders must be held for payment prior to shipment; working closely with customers and A/R, Sales, Buyers and/or Salesmen to resolve any issues with invoices, payments, pricing or product; obtaining proof of deliveries when required by customer; performing credit investigations on new accounts and updating inactive accounts by obtaining credit information from banks, Dunn and Bradstreet and other suppliers; furnishing credit references to other vendors or credit associations; coordinating credits on returned or damaged product; and any other duties as assigned.

Difficulty of Duties: Work is extremely varied and requires the interpretation of technical and detailed guidelines, policies and procedures. Broad guidelines must be interpreted to develop and implement programs or procedures to achieve work results. Responsible for analyzing and solving complex problems.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

Experience: 3+ years relevant experience.

Communication Skills: Bi-lingual Spanish speaking requirement

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills including using a Tyson Business Computer System and understanding how to use the system's features. Tyson Business Computer Systems include the SAP/Credit & Accounts Receivable System, Sales/Inventory Management System, and the General Ledger System.
