Job Description:

SUMMARY: This position provides sales and financial analysis for Export Poultry Foods while supporting Export Group Controller. The position is responsible for providing the sales and marketing groups with timely, accurate information. This includes preparing and evaluating various sales and cost related projects. Quarterly responsibilities will include assisting the Group Controller with rolling 5 quarter projections and preparation of quarterly financial presentations. Specific responsibilities include conducting customer and product analysis, P & L reviews, and product cost comparisons. Other duties include assisting the Export Group Controller in developing weekly/monthly/quarterly reports and analysis for management, forecasting, answering questions for Export team and from various departments across the company, and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Accounting degree preferred.

Experience: 3+ years experience.

Computer Skills: Requires standard computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point. Experience with SAP financial applications and Tyson Financial Reporting (AFE) applications preferred.

Special Skills: Must have an in depth knowledge of Tyson cost accounting and sales accounting methods; basic knowledge of business cycles, systems and processes that impact Sales and Operations.

Travel: 1 to 5 domestic trips per year.
