Job Description:

SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for sales accounting activities, including daily review of margin changes, monitoring and updating accruals, tracking credit memos/rebills and inventory, tracking expenses, preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and weekly and month end closing activities. This position works closely with sales/BU analysts, inventory, CSRs, RMG, sales/plant accountants and controllers. Position is the primary contact for sales accounting inquiries and performing other duties as needed.


Education: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in an academic field directly related and essential to this job such as accounting, finance, or business.

Experience: 4+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills: Intermediate computer skills. Proficient systems knowledge to include but not limited to SAP and MS Office applications. Advanced knowledge of Access preferred.

Communication Skills: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Supervisory: None

Special Skills: Team member must have the ability to multitask, possess good interpersonal skills, and have an understanding of financial statements and related disclosures.
