This position is responsible for providing administrative support to Senior Executives as well as department support for the larger Law Organization.
KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organizing and scheduling meetings and appointments Fielding incoming communication (some of critical importance and/or confidential nature); reviewing incoming matters and correspondence for priority and content and responding promptly Organizing records and files utilizing established systems Assisting with, or independently handling, corporate and regulatory filings Assisting with, or independently handling, Board of Director’s meetings Drafting correspondence and basic legal documents for internal and external usage Working with the Tyson travel department to coordinate trips and schedule travel Assist with expense reports as well as researching, coding and processing various invoices Working with internal clients and outside attorneys in a professional manner
Education: Completion of high school, a vocational school, or equivalent; some college preferred.
Experience: 3+ years' related experience required. Experience in a law firm or in-house environment preferred. Experience interacting with a Board of Directors preferred.
Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills; Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint and Adobe; prior experience with legal software systems preferred.
Communication Skills: Exemplary written and verbal communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to communicate with multiple levels of management including Executive leadership team.
Special Skills: Ability to deal with complicated or difficult situations in a professional and confident manner; team player with strong organizational skills; ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and integrity; ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
