Job Description:

SUMMARY: The primary duties of this position will be to perform clerical tasks within the Transportation/Warehousing group. Duties involved, but not limited to: Accurate data entry and typing (40 wpm). Good working Communication with Drivers, Managers, other office personnel, customers, vendors, and the public. Answering the phone and routine questions. Working with bill of ladings, logs and other legally required documents. Auditing reports. Performing various payroll functions. Duties will require using set policies and procedures; judgment is required to determine application of those policies/procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience Required: 1+ year previous office experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Knowledge of Tyson business computer system which requires an understanding of the system features is preferred. Tyson business computer systems includes but is not limited to the Sale, Inventory, SAP, Transportation and Warehousing Systems. Microsoft Office experience is a plus.

Special Skills Required: Ability to communicate well with others, ability to transfer knowledge, above average writing skills and organizational skills, basic math skills, professional appearance, ability to take direction from managers and detail oriented, ability to solve problems, and computer based keyboard skills.
