Job Description:


The Associate Sales Development Role provides value in the area of Business Analysis and Reporting to the Rapid Growth Brand Sales Team in order to achieve volume and financial goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Aid in the development of Volume Forecasts for P&L using ACV and Velocity Metrics by Channel and Brand

  • Track key customer volume vs. assumptions and vs. forecast inputs

  • Assist in the development of Standardized Reporting to identify opportunities: in stock, out of stock conditions, markdowns, inventory, pricing, distribution points and velocity

  • Document distribution & velocity assumptions and rationale by customer in alignment with Sales Managers

  • Communicate Sales Forecast to Demand Planning Team

  • Support the development and management of customer-specific promotion plans within spending guidelines

  • Monitor performance to evaluate volume, spending and ROI

  • Make recommendations to Sales Team on most effective vehicles to implement

  • Support the development and management of new customer launch plans and ensure overall process is well defined

  • Assist with monitoring performance of Customer Marketing Events and report results and ROI Analysis

  • Draft presentation- ready slides with market results and Key Customer Insights and shared with the Sales Managers and Sales Management

  • Assist with Sales Presentations and Face to Face Interaction with Key Customers to drive volume and incremental support of our Brands

  • Help identify opportunities and strategic direction based on Market, Category, Retailer, and Competitor dynamics

  • Support the management of the Trade Show Strategy and Execution for National Trade Shows (Global Pet Expo and Super Zoo)


  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required

  • Experience: 0-2 years of relevant business experience in Sales or Marketing preferred

  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills

  • Supervisory: None

  • Travel: up to 20%
