Tyson Foods Associate Manager Channel Marketing, Healthcare/General Non Commercial in Springdale, Arkansas
Support the expansion and sales growth for Tyson Foods in the Healthcare channel.
Act as a channel representative for multiple cross-functional groups within the organization, includes Category Marketing, Innovation, and Sales Operations teams
An advocate for the needs of the channel and ensure clear communication
Provide Segment knowledge/trends
Work to provide guidance on Operational/Value solutions.
Provide support for the development and communication of relevant sales support tools across the Healthcare channel.
Drive development and execution of key customer strategies/tactics in alignment with sales and Sr. Manager of Marketing, includes GPO(Group Purchasing Organization) and Partner customers (selling, marketing and insights presentations, customer Regional Meetings, etc.)
Lead analysis of external industry and internal performance information to support the efforts of Sales at multiple levels and Channel Marketing team.
External sales data including SupplyTrack,Technomic, NPD and customer level performance data to assess sales trends, shifts in consumer/operator purchase behavior, competitive risks and white space opportunity.
Program execution data (close rate, rebates, volume growth etc.) to monitor effectiveness.
Budget tracking and reporting.
Based on Yearly Channel Plan, develop, execute and measure effectiveness of operator communication and engagement which may include direct operator digital platforms (Facebook, blogs, E-Newsletters, website, media, etc.), promotions (Point Incentive program, POS, Merchandising, etc.) and other operator engagement (food shows, industry/customer webinars, training programs). Includes collaboration with Agency partner.
- Maintain marketing calendar and metric tracking reporting.
REQUIREMENTS: Education: BS or BA degree in business-related program (strongly preferred) or equivalent combination of education and business experience. Master's degree preferred but not required.
Experience: 3+ years' professional business experience; strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to articulate business intelligence strongly preferred. Foodservice industry experience is a plus. Person must be detail-oriented and a highly-skilled project manager able to manage several projects at one time. Experience in digital marketing execution are a plus.
Computer Skills: Intermediate skills with computer, especially with PowerPoint, and Excel; Knowledge of basic website content development and digital marketing beneficial.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Travel: Up to 5 domestic trips per year.
