Job Description:


The primary purpose of this position is to deliver technical and analytical support of the Time & Attendance systems to ensure our team members are paid accurately and timely each week. This position is expected to analyze time results, provide first level support and report any system issues. This position is responsible for specializing in HR policies and business procedures to ensure time calculations are accurate based on location pay practices. This position will provide training and assign security access which will include maintaining up to date training materials and auditing security roles for compliance. This position will be responsible providing data mining for legal requests in current and legacy systems. This position is expected to contribute to executing the future vision of the HR shared services delivery model. This work is inclusive of defining user requirements, establishing technical specifications, while enhancing productivity, quality, and customer service standards. They will play a significant part in driving efficiency and consistency across support function. This position will focus on ensuring the necessary KPIs and SLAs are met to enable the consistent and efficient delivery of our shared services model to all functions of Tyson Foods. Further responsibilities will include maintaining professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends and delivering results to the customer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support – 65% Create, maintain, and ensure quality and integrity of key HR pay practices and procedures, including master data and time calculation modules Collaborate with the functional endusers and use the technical resources to design functionality that will satisfy the customer need Ensure that all testing procedures have been carried out as per the predetermined goals Focus on delivering support efforts within established service level agreements to ensure department key performance indicators are met.

Project Delivery/Process Optimization – 35% Support the execution of projects using Tyson project methodology in a variety of roles including lead analyst, SME or technical resource. Maintain awareness of best practices, including processes and technology, and identify opportunities for improvement of existing functionality. Develop, use existing, or research new tools that efficiently and accurately present data in useful formats; Continuously seek opportunities for synergy, improvement, simplification and automation of existing processes and reporting. Assist with broader HR Connect initiatives.


Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience: 3+ years relevant experience or equivalent

Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills required. Must be highly competent in the use of Excel and knowledgeable in Microsoft Access or other database query/reporting tools. Familiarity with SAP/HR, Workday or Kronos not required but highly valued;

Communication Skills: Ability to interact with and communicate to a broad range of end users providing excellent support. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Special Skills: General knowledge of hourly pay practices, HR policies, state and federal laws and ability to comprehend union contracts to administer company obligations while standardizing to reduce system footprints. Experience with process documentation, identifying improvement opportunities and specific measurements to track performance post implementation. Proven ability to manage projects within HR Connect using the defined Tyson methodology. Understands how to escalate & drive issues to resolution, manage budget, perform resource planning and manage scope. Strong analytical, mathematical and problem solving; Must be detail-oriented and work well in a team environment. Perseveres to locate necessary data and identify creative solutions to enable project completion; Consistently delivers high-quality, timely work resulting in highly satisfied customers. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities & deliverables in a fast-paced, dead-line oriented environment. Passion for learning; and team player.

Travel: 1 to 5 trips domestic trips per year. Travel time will increase during software implementation projects.
