Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to advance the delivery of the HR people data enabling decision making for the business. A critical focus will be responding to end user requests for ad-hoc reporting, consulting, and guidance on information topics as well as the maintenance of existing dashboard/reporting tools both automated and manually-produced. This position is expected to contribute to executing the future vision of the HR People Analytics delivery model. Current objectives are focused on growth of HR analytics capabilities in support of HR and business objectives. This will include defining user requirements, establishing technical specifications, while enhancing productivity, quality, and customer service standards. This position will focus on ensuring the necessary KPIs and SLAs are met to enable the consistent and efficient delivery of our shared services model to all functions of Tyson Foods. Further responsibilities will include maintaining professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends and delivering results to the customer.

Responsibilities:

Support - 65% Create, maintain, and ensure quality and integrity of data sources, dashboards,and systems that support key HR support practices and procedures including team member transactional activities, recruiting, talent and learning systems. Collaborate with the functional end users and use the technical resources to design functionality that will satisfy the customer need. Ensure that all testing procedures have been carried out as per the predetermined goal. Focus on delivering support efforts within established service level agreements to ensure department key performance indicators are met. Project Delivery/Process

Optimization - 35% Support the execution of projects using Tyson project methodology in a variety of roles including lead analyst, SME or technical resource. Maintain awareness of best practices, including processes and technology, and identify opportunities for improvement of existing functionality. Develop, use existing, or research new tools that efficiently and accurately present data in useful formats; Continuously seek opportunities for synergy, improvement, simplification and automation of existing processes and reporting. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: 3+ years relevant experience or equivalent.

Computer Skills: People Analytics - Advanced computer skills in various reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Access or other database/query/reporting tools. Experience in Alteryx or other data science platforms not required but highly valued. SAP/HR not required but highly valued. Experience in Workday not required but highly valued.

Communication Skills: This position will interact with and is expected to communicate broad range of end users to provide excellent support. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Special Skills: Ability to execute complex reporting and analysis of systems information to support projects, processes, users, and stakeholders with the ability to perform detailed statistical analysis to identify actionable insights, build predictive models and produce impactful visualization of the insights for end user consumption. Experience with process documentation, identifying improvement opportunities and specific measurements to track performance post implementation. Proven ability to manage projects within HR Connect using the defined Tyson methodology. Understands how to escalate & drive issues to resolution, manage budget, perform resource planning and manage scope. Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to think creatively and develop new solutions; Superior organizational and problem solving; Demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities & deliverables in a fast-paced, dead-line oriented environment; Perseveres to locate necessary data and identify creative solutions to enable project completion; Experience collaborating with solutions to enable project completion; Consistently delivers high-quality, timely work resulting in highly satisfied customers; Background in Project Management; Passion for learning; and team player.
