Description

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

Applicants will be considered for any part-time general labor type opening in First Processing area. Physical requirements may include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required. Lifting is required in many areas (weight depends on area.) The use of knives or scissors may be required. These positions may work in a cold (50 degrees F or below), damp or hot, humid environment (some jobs may reach 120 degrees F in the summer months).

Requirements

Various schedules are available for part-time employees with up to 29 hours per week. No rehire for former Tyson Team Members that were termed for gross misconduct. Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 730 calendar days. Applicants that complete an application and do not meet the criteria described in this statement will be removed from the application process.
