Job Description:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for directing, controlling, and coordinating all safety regulations and company policies pertaining to the Team Members, lift trucks, equipment, and the facility area. This includes training Team Members and assigning equipment and trucks to crews, certifying all equipment operators, and monitoring the quality and quantity of production. Other responsibilities include ensuring operational procedures are followed, checking all trucks for special instructions – military, exports, samples, and papers that go with that load, and ensuring all trucks are shipped and received in accordance with operational procedures. Other duties include communicating with Inventory, Customer Service, Transportation, and other shipping facilities, conducting safety inspections, safety drills, and safety contacts with Team Members. Perform other responsibilities as needed. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Knowledge of high school subject matter such as mathematics, grammar, office equipment, and business practices. Knowledge is normally acquired by four years of high school, a vocational, or equivalent. Experience: 3 Years. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Experience in Warehouse Management system preferred. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhatidentical and related tasks or activities.

Position-Specific Requirements:

Education: Knowledge of high school subject matter such as mathematics, grammar, office equipment, and business practices. Knowledge is normally acquired by four years of high school, a vocational, or equivalent.

Experience: 3 Years Supervisory experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Experience in Warehouse Management system preferred.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.

Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.

Work is in cold storage facility with temperature between -5 degrees and 35 degrees Fahrenheit.

Preference given to internal candidates.
