SUMMARY: This position is responsible for maintaining high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible. This position requires an essential understanding of regulations and standard operating procedures, accurate record keeping, and general line maintenance and staffing. Specific responsibilities include training and coaching employees; enforcing systems, policies and procedures; maintain work flow; monitor progress; ensure formulas and batching procedures are understood and followed; ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP's, safety and quality standards; other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School diploma or education beyond high school including special training, vocational school and/or college courses is preferred. Experience: 2 years of experience in a supervisor/lead role in a manufacturing environment or equivalent. HACCP related experience preferred. Food manufacturing is a plus. Computer Skills: Standard computer skills. Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills.
