This position is responsible for performing interpreting and translating services of oral and or written communication between English and other languages in a variety of settings. Interpreters will ensure that team members are properly trained on procedures to operate and or maintain machinery while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


This position is responsible for Interpretation and Translation (English Burmese). Must be willing to translate for meetings and trainings. Must be willing to handle all information and situations confidentially. Must be willing to come in 30 minutes early and 30 minutes late as needed. Needs to be able to rotate between the different positions in pack out and between the Corn and Flour departments as needed. Perform work in a safe manner. Assemble boxes and pack boxes of flour tortillas, chips, flatbread, or taco shells. Maintain good manufacturing practices and personal hygiene. Keeps department clean and neat. Abide by all company policies procedures, written or verbal. Work as a team member toward task accomplishments. Performs all other tasks as assigned. This position is required to follow all Tyson safety rules and to complete Lock Out Tag Out Training. This position will be exposed on a routine basis to warm temperatures ranging from 65-90 degrees, wet and or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas, and concrete floors. This position also may be exposed to air borne particles, and a noise level loud enough to require hearing protection. This position will require walking, bending, standing, and so


Must have 1 year continuous work history with a single employer in the past 3 years to be considered. Must not have been terminated from a previous employer for attendance or job abandonment. Must not have been employed by Tyson Foods in the last 3 years to be eligible for hire. Must be available to work overtime and weekends
