This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


The team member is responsible for maintaining all buildings and outside grounds up keep and other assigned duties during all times of the year. The following includes some of the jobs but not limited to painting, mowing, weed eating, climbing on ladders and working at various heights and surfaces, changing light bulbs, removing snow and ice, and laying down salt at plant entrances, building forms and pouring concrete, framing walls, and using power tools Must be willing to occasionally lift up to 80 lbs. with help. Janitorial work including trash removal, hanging plastic in various locations on the grounds including the production floor, and cleaning windows, break rooms, and bathrooms. Other tasks include the use of personal protective equipment as needed, delivering packages and boxes to designated locations. This team member must be willing to stand and walk the entire duration of the shift and climb stairs. Use of an outside forklift, certification required. Authorized Lockout tagout certification required. Will work with, store, and handle chemicals necessary for cleaning and painting. Needs to be able to follow all safety rules which include, but are not limited to the Tyson Core Safety Mandates. Must be able to work as
