Job Description:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for directing, controlling, and coordinating all safety regulations and company policies pertaining to the Team Members, trucks and equipment, and the complex area. This includes training Team Membersand assigning equipment and trucks to crews, certifying all equipment operators, and monitoring the quality and quantity of production. Other responsibilities include ensuring operational procedures are followed, checking all trucks for special instructions-military, exports, samples and papers that go with that load, and ensuring all trucks are shipped and received in accordance with operational procedures. Other duties include communicating with Sales, Transportation, and other shipping facilities, conducting safety inspections, fire hazard inspections, fire drills, ammonia release drills, overseeing Hazmat team meetings, and performing other responsibilities as needed. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Knowledge of high school subject matter such as mathematics, grammar, office equipment, and business practices. Knowledge is normally acquired by four years of high school, a vocational school, or equivalent. Experience: 1 plus years. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.
