This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


Applicants will be considered for any general labor type of opening on any shift such as day, evening, or late night. Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening in any department that may include, but not limited to, first processing, live receiving and evisceration, leg line, wog cooler rehang, packing, deboning. Willingness to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach. Lifting is done in many areas (weight depends on area.) These positions work in a cold, damp or hot, humid environment, and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces. Willing to walk up and down stairs as some departments are located on the lower level. Willing to stand on and work on a plat form that is about two feet above floor level.


If an applicant meets Tyson's minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview. Applicants who have worked for Tyson three times will not be considered.
