This position is responsible for setting up and operating equipment that mixes or blends ingredients used in the manufacturing of food products while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


The Breader Batter Operator is responsible for keeping the Revos or Formaxes full, rotating v-mag carts, and keeping pre-duster, batter and breader full of ingredients. Operator must provide group-leader with batch management information for the batters, breaders when starting a new pallet. Breader Batter Operator fills in for the Line Operator. Helps set-up, breakdown and washes equipment and area when necessary.


Must be able to take appropriate actions if foreign material is found in the process. Must be willing to perform paper work accurately, and legible on paper or in plant-view. Must be willing to rotate to other departments if needed. Must be willing to perform physical duties which consist of bending, twisting, standing and walking. Must be willing to work long hours and weekends if needed. Must be willing to work in extreme conditions of heat, hot, humid to dry and cold conditions. Continuously lift batter and breader bags through-out the shift. Must be willing to lift up to 50 pounds. Must have good communication skills. Must be willing to comply with all other requests from supervisor. Must not have more than five (5) attendance points. Must not have a written warning within the past six (6) months. Must not have written warning with suspension with the last twelve (12) months.
