Job Description:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for planning and supervising the execution of cost effective and timely maintenance necessary for the operation of stationary equipment and overall production operations. This includes directing, coordinating and supporting refrigeration and maintenance personnel, working with contractors, vendors or company engineering in the modification or installation of equipment, and troubleshooting and resolving new and/or different technical problems regarding equipment. Other responsibilities include maintaining relevant records, ensuring OSHA standards and programs are being implemented, instructing in the use of personal protective equipment and HAZMAT operations. Other duties include coordinating Team Member schedules, handling clock reports and attendance records, holding monthly safety meeting and HAZMAT Team Training, driving the Reliability process and performing other duties as the need arises to include the duties of 3 rd shift Maintenance Mechanic if the needed

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Bachelors degree from four year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education preferred.

Experience: 3 plus years. Maintenance Supervisory experience preferred.

Ammonia Refrigeration and Boiler Operator experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills in MS Word and Excel.

Communication Skills: Good oral and written communication skills.

Supervisory Skills: Must be able to supervise a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related maintenance tasks or activities.
