This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the refrigeration systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


Industrial refrigeration operator technician experience with RETA training and certification is a plus 1st Grade Stationary Engineer License (City Of Houston) Two years of Ammonia Refrigeration Experience HVAC experience a plus Troubleshooting and repair knowledge of compressed air systems including compressors and air dryers, etc. Troubleshooting skill with a working knowledge of mechanical and digital control circuits Assist in PSM RMP Strong electrical troubleshooting Experience building rebuilding pumps, motors, compressors and electrical components Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays and off-shifts as needed Abitility to travel 10% This individual should be able to work proficiently without supervision. Have adequate plant experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. Required to pass and maintain OSHA 40 or 24 hour HAZWOPER and obtain maintain at least Level 3 or 4 as designated to respond as a HAZMAT TM, as require by Tyson. Be a member and participate in the HazMat team and don applicable PPE. Able to read and understand schematics, diagrams and P ID s Able to understand Temperature Pressure relation
