Tyson Foods HARVEST FSQA Technician 5 - B Shift in Holcomb, Kansas
SUMMARY : This position is responsible for performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems, documenting and calculating results accurately; taking corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product) and report results to management; any additional assignments requested. All team members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety andfood safety.
REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in the Fresh Meats industry required or other QA type experience. Communication Skills: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Special Skills: Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork; ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce; good problem identification and problem solving skills; math and organizationalskills; ability to read and interpret product specifications; must function well under stress; must have flexibility to work where and when needed. Physical Requirements: Position involves heavy lifting (70 lbs. or more). Supervisory: None. Travel: None.

This position is slated for candidates who are currently working at this facility. Priority Consideration will be provided to these applicants first. If local Team Members are not selected, Team Members from other locations will then be reviews for consideration.
Internal applicants must have a good attendance and work performance record; less than 8 attendance points at the time of this posting and no disciplines greater than one written warning within the last 12 months.
