This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Applicants will be considered for a jack operator opening on second shift. Must accept work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from -2 to 6 degrees. Jobs are fast paced and require repetitive motion. The position requires lifting, pushing and pulling up to 40+ lbs routinely. Constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment is required. Applicants will need to complete some production paperwork. Specialized training for powered industrial trucks required to be qualified within Tyson Foods, Inc. Applicants must be able to work overtime and weekends when required. Applicants must follow all safety programs.
You must have six months of work history with one employer in the past 18 months. Applicants that have listed more than 6 months within last 18 months with one temporary agency with no other significant employment will be disqualified.
