This is a driver position responsible for the transport and delivery of freight on time in a professional manner by driving diesel-powered tractor trailer combinations short and long distances, while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Responsible for moving, loading and unloading trucks (trailers) generate bills. Must be able to operate pallet jack and or forklift and obtain required training for license. Generate all paper work associated with each load. Must be able to fuel and oil truck as needed. Must be willing to do any other jobs assigned by supervisor.
Work Schedule Sunday through Thursday night 5 00 p.m. until 2 00 a.m. Schedule is subject to change as determinted by production needs. Must meet all the requirements of DOT to include 1 yr OTR. Must have a valid CDL and DOT certifications. Must have computer skills. Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions. Inside work in cold, damp and wet environment.
