Description

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening on any shift. Applicants will be considered for opening in any department that may include, but are not limited to, Live Receiving, Evisceration, Reprocessing, Chiller Rehang, Debone, Debone Packout, CFA, CFA Packout, Leg Room, WOG Marination. Job Duties include, but are not limited to, separating product, inspecting product for imperfections, packing product into boxes. Other duties will be assigned by supervisor. Some positions require lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 70 pounds. Must be able to work in a dusty environment and in temperatures of 50 degrees Fahrenheit or less to include wet floor surfaces. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling and reaching are required. Job could require standing for up to 10 hours per day. Applicants must be willing to wear all proper safety equipment and must be willing to work weekends when required.
