This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Maintenance Generalist positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. Must be willing to set up, adjust and break down production line machinery. Must be willing to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Must be able to comprehend and process the paperwork necessary to the position. Must be able to communicate with co-workers and management. Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Must be willing to lift 70 lbs. on a daily basis and be willing to work on your feet for a period up to 12 hours. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job.
Plant Maintenance positions require ONE YEAR of experience in Industrial Electrical Maintenance OR must have graduated from a technical college with a certification in Electronics Technology or Industrial Maintenance Technology. Must be willing to work 10 pm to 6 am Monday thru Friday, Saturdays if production is running or as needed and occasional Sundays. Applications are only good for the month you apply.
