Description

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process and insuring proper ingredients supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

Applicants will be considered for any machine operator-type opening. Tasks include, but are not limited to, forming, marinating, slicing, grinding, mixing, oven operation, assembling and dismantling equipment, mobile equipment operation, lock out tag out operation, stacking, inspection. Other tasks in these positions will be to stand, sit, bend, walk, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat and reach. The team member must be willing and able to lift, carry, push, and pull 20-70 pounds. Candidate must be willing and able to work in the cold (35 to 45 degrees) or damp environments and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces. Candidate must be able to work overtime and weekends.

Requirements

Applicants must show at least 6 months of work history with one employer within the last 24 months. If an applicant meets Tysons minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview.
