The Janitor Operator is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the dock and freezer areas while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


Applicants will be considered for any type of janitor operator position for warehouse and production areas. Team member will sweep and clean the area in production and warehouse. Walk assigned area at the beginning and end of each shift removing any exposed product. Other tasks as needed. Janitor Operators must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Other physical tasks of this position will be to stand, sit, bend, walk, stretch, stepping onto and off of PIT equipment, kneel, squat and reach frequently overhead. Must be willing to be certified in LOTO and pallet jack and fall protection for warehouse. The Candidate must be willing and able to lift, carry, push, and pull 20-70 pounds individually, and or with assistance frequently throughout the shift. Candidate must be willing to work in the cold (3 degrees below zero to 40 degrees F). High humidity conditions that may have slippery walking surfaces. Candidate must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
