This position is responsible for ensuring that team members are properly trained on procedures to operate and or maintain machinery while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


Provide clear and consistent instruction during the first 90 days of employment, provide support, training, development and assessment to all new hires. Provide feedback, progress reports and follow up with assigned supervisor. Oversee buddy program, provide guidance and policy administration in areas of safety, quality and specific product line processing, lean manufacturing principles, Standards of Work, coordinate bi-weekly round table meet greet with facility management team. The Team member is required to sit use hands to finger, handle or feel reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 0-33% of the time. Candidate must be willing to work in the cold (35 to 45 degrees) or damp environments and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces. Candidate must be able to work overtime and weekends.


Applicants must show at least 6 months of work experience with one employer within the last 24 months. Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
