Tyson Foods Training Specialist (Language Programs) in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota
This position will be primarily responsible for the Diversity and Inclusion of all Team Members by designing, implementing and managing the Interpreter Training Program. This position will also be responsible for coordinating, mentoring and delivering the Tyson Fresh Meats language programs and all necessary materials to Tyson Team Members. This will be done by interacting regularly with all Fresh Meats facilities, to include all plant management and hourly Team Members, specifically with the plant training specialists, community liaisons and many shared service departments within the plant facilities and with the Dakota Dunes office. This position will also provide support, as needed, on the implementation and initial deliverance of assigned training programs; facilitate various training programs at the facilities, Dakota Dunes corporate office or as otherwise assigned. This position must demonstrate excellent Leadership skills to measure the success and effectiveness of the language, interpreter and ESL training programs in the plants.
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 2+ year's training and/or facilitating experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Power Point, Word, Excel, Publisher, Alchemy, SAP. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; great public speaking and facilitation skills; bilingual preferred (multiple languages a plus).
Special Skills: Membership or Certification of American Translator's Association preferred;Certification in Achieve-Global or the ability to become certified; ability to interact well with all levels of Team Members; excellent time management and the ability to prioritize; strong organizational and problem solving skills.
