Job Description:

SUMMARY: This person will be responsible for the proper land application of wastewater treatment plant biosolids and repairing production trolleys. Duties may include the setup, operation, maintenance, and repair of dredging equipment and trolley repair equipment; daily monitoring of equipment, fluids and lubricants during dredging operations. Operator will be required to operate dredging equipment in a safe/proper manner. Shift operations that may include some night shifts or as needed and other duties as assigned by dredging supervisor or lead operator. When dredging is not required the candidate will be repairing trolleys or working in the shop. Must be self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision.


Education: HS Diploma preferred.

Experience: Must have working experience in one or more of the following: general equipment repair, maintenance, engine repair, welding and farming background that shall include knowledge and experience with agricultural equipment operations, equipment repair and maintenance. Agricultural background preferred.

Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Travel: Seasonal travel for project work at company locations.

Other requirements: Must have a valid driver license. Work requires physical strength and agility necessary to perform lifting of 50# or more. Must be dependable and have a good attendance record. Must be able to work long hours when necessary and be available to travel upon short notice.

Position-Specific Requirements: Typical Work Schedule will be Monday - Thursday. (6:00 am - 4:30 pm) while in the shops. If traveling, Work Schedule could be 7 days a week and 12 hour shifts per day.
