Description

This position is responsible for assisting the lead supervisor with product flow, process efficiency, and product quality as it relates to shipping, receiving, and dry goods as well as product manifesting while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

Must be willing to unloading raw materials, picking, staging and loading goods materials onto trailers for shipment. Maintaining accuracy of outbound shipments of finished goods. Loading and unloading dry goods from trailers, checking purchase orders and ensuring all goods are accounted for and checked in, data entry into EIM system, receiving any all other packages for other departments, and other duties as assigned by supervisor. Applicants must be willing to work 8 to12 hours per shift and overtime and weekends if required. Must be willing to work in temperatures ranging from 20 to 42 degrees, work at a fast paced, frequently pull, push, lift and or carry 40 lbs. to 70lbs., constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment (forklifts). Specialized training for powered industrial trucks required to be qualified within Tyson Foods, Inc.

Requirements

Applicant must have at least six months of continuous work history with same employer within the last twelve months to be considered for this position.
