Description

This position is responsible for assisting the supervisor with product flow, process efficiency, and product quality while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

Applicant is responsible to assist in set up duties such as place trash container in place on the production floor. Team member needs to ensure a clean, trash free environment in the grinding area. Transport cardboard and trash to specified location and dump. Place plastic pallets in the wash rack, operate, load and unload pallet wash. Assist operator with grinding frozen blocks of raw materials. Be able to assist material handler when needed. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Applicant must have good communication and organizational skills and be able to perform tasks with limited supervision. Applicant must be able to work overtime when required. This position involves work in a dry cold environment, standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, crawling, performing repetitive motions pinching, grasping reaching above shoulders, climbing stairs ladders, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Requirements

Applicant must have at least six months of continuous work history with same employer within the last twelve months to be considered for this position.
