SUMMARY: This position performs and reports daily audits on production lines around the facility to ensure a safe, wholesome product is produced each hour of every day. Will support SQF initiatives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor product for adherence to HACCP and quality requirements, and document findings. Place questionable product items on hold for determination of final disposition and release products when disposition has been determined. Monitor, document, and report Sandwich Assembly SSOP deficiencies, Pre-Op and Operational SSOP reports. Maintain quality control. Conduct daily calibration of QA thermometers and record in Calibration Log. Conduct daily calibration of Check Scales and record in the Scale Calibration Log. Conduct line audits to ensure required paperwork/reporting is being completed correctly. Conduct glass/hard plastic audits for area of responsibility. Assist Quality Assurance Manager and or Supervisor(s)as needed. Other duties may be assigned. Experience: QA type experience preferred. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Communication Skills: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Special Skills: Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork; ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce; have good problem identification and problem-solving skills; math and organizational skills; ability to read and interpret product specifications; must function well under stress; must have flexibility to work where and when needed.
