The Trade Optimization Analyst conducts post event analysis measuring different types of executions (EDLP/Promotions) and the trade investment to uncover opportunities to improve ROI across key customers/categories. She/he will work to continue to build the event library in the custom Post Event Analysis Tool (PEAT), populate and distribute reporting. She/he will proactively share findings with internal business and brand partners.
Other responsibilities include: Conduct data validation and exploration for analysis or trade activities from multiple internal/third part sources relating to promotion performance & EDLP to identify benefits achieved. Assist the effort of predictive modeling of trade investments based on event investment levels & consumption outcomes also rooted in customer, consumer, and shopper insights. Supply brand teams with insights to help develop trade promotional and/or EDLP plans
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Very good with displaying quantitative information in Excel charts, PowerPoint presentations and other forms visual enhancements to the data. Natural inquisitiveness to exploring the data, mining the data and looking for insights to drive business decisions. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Excellent planning and project management skills. Strong data manipulation skills. Business acumen.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree required
EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years of work experience in Sales Finance, Business Development, Category Management, Sales or Revenue Management.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills required
