This is a driver position responsible for the transport and delivery of freight on time in a professional manner by driving diesel-powered tractor trailer combinations short and long distances, while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


Must have a valid Commercial Driver s License Heavy Lifting Keeping accurate operational records Reporting Safety Policy violations to Supervisor Working knowledge of state local traffic laws.This position is responsible for loads of packaging materials in and out of the packaging docks. This person hauls loads of packaging to the additional off-site warehouse. This person will fill in for the plant shuttle driver hauling loads to Green Forest and back. Tasks Applicants will be considered for the Shuttle CDL Driver position opening on 2nd shift. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing pulling and reaching are required. This position works out of doors in extreme heat and or cold conditions and also requires driving during inclement weather. Working knowledge of all company safety policies All Miscellaneous duties assigned by Supervisor


Position holder must have and maintain a valid Class A, Commercial Driver s License. Must be able to maintain Operational records and must report any safety concerns to Supervisor. Must maintain DOT records daily. Must maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT and EPA regulations. Must be able to lift +40 pounds. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
