Job Description SUMMARY: This position will work collaboratively in a cross-discipline technical team of engineers, programmers, designers, and technicians in the development and implementation of control systems for all Tyson facilities. The candidate must be willing to learn skills in manufacturing automation design, integration, troubleshooting, engineering, programming, and consulting.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: A Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.

Computer Skills: Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Certification: P.E. licenses a plus, but not required. Travel: 10 - 12 trips per year. Engineer should be willing to travel to job site for start-up of control systems.

Special Skills: knowledge of industrial control systems and PLC, HMI, SCADA and SPC programming is a plus. Be willing to support installed control systems for emergency purposes outside of normal business hours.
